Welcome to the Online
Information Resource for the MMPDS Handbook
The Metallic Materials
Properties Development and Standardization handbook, and its predecessor
MIL-HDBK-5, are the preeminent sources for aerospace component design
allowables. This website is your resource for up-to-date
documentation and supporting information for these Handbooks.
Included
on this site is information on the current and prior releases of the
Handbook, specially designed tools for accessing this information, and
news and documentation on activity occurring in support of the continued
accuracy of this program. Together this information forms the
foundation for the critical design values used today by the most
prominent members of the aerospace community. |

|
|
MMPDS-04 was prepared by Battelle under
contract with the FAA Willliam J. Hughes Technical Center. It is
covered under U.S. Copyright and is the only current form of the
MMPDS Handbook. It renders MMPDS-03, and prior published versions of
MMPDS and MIL-HDBK-5 obsolete. |
