International Symposium on Bioremediation and Sustainable Environmental Technologies
Battelle Principal Research Scientist Ramona Darlington presented a paper at the International Symposium on Bioremediation and Sustainable Environmental Technologies about evaluating and comparing the treatability of remedial approaches in addressing benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) concentrations in groundwater. Battelle sponsored the Collaborative Institute for Oceans, Climate and Security (CIOCS) at University of Massachusetts Boston in its hosting of the first-ever Global Conference on Oceans, Climate and Security (GCOCS) in May, 2012.
The three day conference, expected to be a bi-annual signature event for CIOCS, convened May 21-23, 2012 in Boston with the primary goal of addressing the impact of climate change on our ocean systems andthe consequent impact on human security and national security. Read more.
