Enhanced Biomarker Analysis
photo of biomarker analysisPetroleum biomarkers are an important class of hydrocarbons found in crude oils and some refined products used for forensic source attribution and upstream oil production. Battelle scientists have refined the traditional analytical approach to more sensitively measure these compounds in oil, sediment, water and tissue. Ultimately this will allow clients to more sensitively and definitively differentiate different sources of oil in both environmental forensic and oil exploration efforts. Read more.
